Description

• One-piece, fast-acting glass fuses with knob combine a fuse body and an insulating cap into a single unit for use as an in-line fuse to protect fluorescent lighting fixtures from overcurrent. They fit into a compatible holder to form a fuse assembly, which can be installed in each fixture on a branch circuit. In the event of a overcurrent, the faulty fixture will be isolated to prevent the shutdown of every fixture on a circuit. Also called fast-blow glass fuses, they open within seconds of being exposed to overloads and short circuits. They are highly sensitive to changes in current flow and don’t tolerate temporary overload currents or power surges.
